Arrive at Zhangjiajie Hehua Airport or Zhangjiajie West Railway Station, where a private car transfers you to your hotel. In the afternoon, head to Tianmen Mountain and ride the world's longest mountain passenger cableway (7,455 meters) to the summit, enjoying breathtaking aerial views of the 99-bend mountain road below. Walk along the cliff-hanging glass walkway — the abyss beneath your feet will set your heart racing. Pass through Tianmen Cave, a naturally formed mountain tunnel standing 131.5 meters tall, an awe-inspiring sight of raw geological power.

A full day exploring Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. Take the Bailong Elevator straight up to Yuanjiajie, the filming location for the Hallelujah Mountain scenes in Avatar. Three thousand sandstone pillars soar into the clouds, and when mist swirls around them, they appear to float in midair like a fairy kingdom. Then explore Tianzi Mountain, climbing to He Long Park for panoramic views of the peak forest —御笔峰 (Imperial Brush Peaks) and 仙女散花 (Fairy Scattering Flowers) unfurl like an ink-wash painting. Descend by cable car in the evening.

In the morning, stroll along the Golden Whip Stream, a 7.5-kilometer canyon trail flanked by towering sandstone pillars and ancient trees. The pristine air has earned it the nickname 'natural oxygen bar.' Next, explore Ten-Mile Gallery aboard a sightseeing mini-train winding through a canyon lined with extraordinary rock formations. In the afternoon, head to Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon and challenge yourself on the world's highest and longest glass bridge — spanning the canyon 300 meters above the valley floor, walking across it feels like stepping on clouds.

In the morning, drive to Furong Town (approximately 2.5 hours), a 2,000-year-old town made famous by the award-winning film Furong Town. Built along a cliff face with a grand waterfall cascading through its center, it is known as 'the ancient town hanging over a waterfall.' Continue to Fenghuang Ancient Town (approximately 1.5 hours). Upon arrival, stroll along both banks of the Tuojiang River, visit the former residence of writer Shen Congwen, Hongqiao Bridge, and the East Gate tower. As night falls, thousands of lanterns illuminate the riverside, and the reflections of stilt houses shimmer on the water like a dream.

Early morning in Fenghuang is uniquely peaceful — mist drifts over the Tuojiang River, and stilt houses appear and vanish in the haze. Rise early for a riverside walk to capture the ancient town in the soft morning light. Take a scull boat ride on the Tuojiang to admire the town from the water. Enjoy free time to explore and shop for Miao silver jewelry, batik fabrics, and other local handicrafts. In the afternoon, a private car will transfer you to Zhangjiajie or Tongren Fenghuang Airport according to your departure schedule, concluding your western Hunan adventure.

The Tianmen Mountain glass walkway is built along a sheer cliff face, about 60 meters long, delivering the thrilling sensation of walking on the edge of a bottomless precipice. The Grand Canyon glass bridge spans a canyon at 430 meters long and approximately 300 meters above the valley floor — the world's longest and highest fully transparent glass bridge, offering the awe-inspiring experience of walking high above a canyon.
