After you submit a trip request, a dedicated travel advisor will contact you to discuss your preferences, budget, and schedule. We then craft a personalized itinerary just for you. Once confirmed, we handle all arrangements — you just show up and enjoy.
A travel advisor will reach out within 1 business day of your inquiry, and we typically deliver a draft itinerary in 2–3 business days. During peak season, we recommend booking 2–4 weeks in advance.
Minor adjustments can be made up to 15 days before departure. However, some pre-booked hotels or tickets may be non-refundable. We recommend reviewing every detail carefully at confirmation — we'll do our best to accommodate your needs.

Pricing & Quotes
Tour prices listed on our website generally do not include flights, so you can fly from wherever is convenient. We're happy to help book flights separately — costs will be quoted additionally. A detailed final quote is provided once the itinerary is confirmed.
We guarantee transparent pricing. All included and excluded items are clearly listed in your trip confirmation. Common optional activities (camel rides, costume rentals, etc.) are always communicated in advance so you can budget accordingly.
Yes! Groups of 6 or more enjoy discounted rates. The exact savings depend on group size and destination — contact us for a custom quote.
Booking Process
You can reach us in several ways: 1) Fill out the custom trip form on our website; 2) Message us directly on WhatsApp or LINE; 3) Email hello@hangchentravel.com. We respond within 24 hours.
We recommend booking 4–8 weeks ahead. During peak seasons (July–September and Chinese New Year), 2–3 months is ideal. Popular sites like Tibet and the Mogao Caves require advance permits, so more lead time is needed.
Private custom tours can start with just 1 person. Our boutique small-group tours range from 2–15 people, ensuring personalized attention and service for every traveler.
Accommodation & Transport
We default to 3-star or above standard rooms. If you have special requests (4-star, 5-star, boutique guesthouses, etc.), just let us know during customization and we'll adjust the quote accordingly.
Yes! All our tours include comfortable, air-conditioned private vehicles with professional drivers for the entire trip. You won't need to worry about local transportation — we've got it covered.
Every group is accompanied by a licensed professional guide who handles sightseeing commentary, logistics, and emergencies. Some Tibet routes also include specialized local Tibetan guides.
Payment & Confirmation
We accept bank transfers, Alipay, and WeChat Pay. Typically, a 30% deposit is required to confirm the booking, with the balance due 7 days before departure. Detailed payment instructions are provided at confirmation.
Refunds depend on timing: cancel 30+ days before departure for a 50% deposit refund; 15–29 days for 30%; within 14 days, the deposit is non-refundable. For unforeseen circumstances, contact us and we'll work something out.
