In the morning, climb the Yellow Crane Tower, foremost of the three great towers south of the Yangtze, and enjoy sweeping views of the Yangtze and Han rivers converging. Then stroll across the Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge and feel the majestic span that connects north and south. In the afternoon, drive to Xiangyang and explore its ancient city walls, a formidable fortification with 2,800 years of history.

Head to the Qingjiang Grand Canyon and cruise along the jade-green Qingjiang River, flanked by towering peak forests. Stop at Butterfly Rock, a cliff face shaped like a butterfly spreading its wings — a truly awe-inspiring sight. Explore Huanghe Peak Forest, where karst stone pillars take on countless fantastical forms. In the evening, visit Enshi Daughter City to experience Tujia traditions including bowl-smashing wine and the Baishou dance.

A full day at the Enshi Grand Canyon. Walk along cliff-hanging walkways with thousand-meter drops beneath your feet, as sword-like peaks pierce swirling clouds — the canyon is often called the world's most beautiful scar. Iconic landmarks like One Incense Pillar and Welcoming Guest Pine leave visitors speechless. In the afternoon, descend into the Yunlong Ground Fissure, where waterfalls cascade and moss blankets the rock walls.
